Prof Mason had 2 finalist podium presentations for the IFFAS award in this the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankls Society this year, one for tibialis posterior entrapment and one for his collaborative work with the UK FATE audit. Both projects prompted an invite to discuss on the AOFAS podcast. 

Popular orthopaedic and trauma influencer Dr Yelena Bogdan (AKA @InvictaOrtho) of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and NYC Health and Hospitals synstems in New York, refers to Prof Mason as a "superstar" foot and nakle surgeon in her recent podcast on "Leveraging Social Media for Education.

Over 15,000 views and 85,000 minutes watched this year. The video with the highest views was "Functional treatment of Achilles Tendon Rupture"

After Prof Masons Key Note lecture, he was asked to give a podcast interview. The RSM podcast said "We sat down with Professor Lyndon Mason (Liverpool) to discuss the optimal management of calcaneal fractures and ankle fractures. Prof Mason dispels commonly held myths in this high yield episode."

Prof Mason has been invited to give a key note lecture on "ankle fractures: not just the bone" at the prestigious Royal Society of Medicine. He will also talk on calcaneal fractures and what we know in 2022.

Last month there have been 20 new subscribers, 1,364 views and 6,326 minutes watched.

Prof Mason has been invited to give lectures at the Orthopaedic and Trauma Conference 2022 hosted by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons  of Glasgow

Both Prof Mason and Mr Molloy are noted for their work on ankle fractures and the development of the Volition ankle fracture plating system.

The Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundaiton Trust acknowledge Prof Masons Hunterian Lecture at the British Orthopaedic Association

Prof Mason was awarded the coveted Robert Jones Gold Medal and Association Prize for his work on the evolution of the foot and its functional consequences.

Prof Mason was an invited guest for the BJJ 360 podcast to talk about his reflections of the year 2020.
