The Liverpool Foot and Ankle Clinic is run by Prof. Lyndon Mason, a foot and ankle specialist who has won multiple national and international awards over the last 10 years. With pioneering work in trauma and deformity, his contributions have been recognized by the British Orthopaedic Association, British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, and the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Other team members include Dr. Kimberly Lam, consultant radiologist and expert in PRP and cryoablation. Ruth Cooil provides expert physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, ensuring comprehensive post-treatment care on the Isle of Man. Mr. Hassan Ridha, a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who brings extensive experience in both elective and trauma cases, further strengthening the clinic’s expertise and provides on island care post surgery in the Isle of Man. Together, this team offers a world-class, multidisciplinary approach to foot and ankle care.
The members offer routine and cutting edge treatments for all foot and ankle problems. For example, Prof Mason treats foot arthritis, foot and ankle pain, sports-related foot and ankle conditions, bunions and other foot deformities such as hammer toes, claw toes and mallet toes. He performs procedures such as arthroscopy, minimally invasive techniques (including MIS bunions, 'key hole' bunion), fusions and non-invasive procedures.

Prof Mason has 10 years worth of experience using minimally invasive procedures including bunion correction, deformity correction and treatment of arthritis.
Dr Lam is one of the few specialists in the country to offer cryotherapy treatment for conditions like Mortons Neuroma.
Prof Mason has extensive experience dealing with heel pain conditions such as Achilles tendon pain and Plantar Fasciitis having been consultant lead for a heel pain tertiary referral clinic for almost 10 years.
